Details: OCT  kicks off 2018 with Annie Baker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning comic drama “The Flick,” directed by John Schmor. In a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts, three underpaid employees mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles, becoming more gripping than the lackluster, second-run movies on screen. “The Flick” is a hilarious and heart-rending cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world. The audience can participate in a “Talk Back” following the Sunday performances.

Tickets: $20 t0 $39 (except $35 for Jan 12 opening night performance and post-show reception); suggested $15 for pay-what-you-can preview performances; $15 for students with valid ID, except on opening night; tickets available at the box office, 541-465-1506, or online at octheatre.org
