Norma Adams’ paintings of Venice, Italy, are part of a show at the Willamalane Adult Activity Center

The official tour kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the Willamalane Adult Activity Center at 215 W. Next up on the tour is the Emerald Art Center at 500 Main St. The annual Mayor’s Art Show, with more than 200 pieces by area artists on display.

A trip upstairs from the art center to Wise Turtle Acupuncture/Talking Rhythms follows, featuring art by acrylic painter Sarah Bast.

The tour then moves to City Hall Gallery at 225 A St. in City Hall, where there will be a display of abstract collages by James Mayner, along with light refreshments and music by the Laurel Chamber Players.

Stop No. 5 will be the Tronson Gallery of Contemporary Art at 740 Main St., featuring new paintings by longtime Eugene artist Jerry Ross, created during a month-long painting residency in the Netherlands, hosted by OBRAS, a Portuguese arts foundation.

The tour wraps up at the Cascade Center for Spiritual Living at 741 Main St., with Rita Fiedler’s paintings in a show called “Rights of Nature.” Prizes will be awarded there for the best costumes of the evening.
