Where: Hope Abbey, Eugene Masonic Cemetery, 26th and University streets  in Eugene (entrance and street parking at 25th and University streets)

Details: The Egyptian Revival-style mausoleum will host an open house with cookies and informative conversation about the historic cemetery — established in 1859 and the final resting place of many Eugene area historical luminaries — and its Abbey, which is over 100 years old. The cemetery is the oldest in Eugene and the same age as the State of Oregon, with beautifully peaceful, strollable grounds.

Admission: Free, but donations are welcome to help maintain the nonprofit Eugene Masonic Cemetery Association
