Details: “Intermediate Improv” with Erica Towe. In this course, students continue to work on fundamental principles of improvisation learned in Level 1 “Improv and Theatre Games.” Students work with fellow improvisers to create scenes by incorporating concepts such as status, tilt, and reincorporation. Students will practice establishing honest characters, environments, and scene structures, as well as the skills of listening, focus, and playing with commitment. During the final class, students perform in a showcase for friends and family! Prerequisites: “Improv and Theatre Games” or instructor approval. Students must attend 6 of 8 classes to take part in the showcase.
