The annual Art for All Seasons show of work by members of the artists’ collective and its accompanying show and sale by members of the Club Mud Ceramics group is open now at the Maude Kerns Art Center and runs through Dec. 21.

Jocelyn Moreno, education coordinator at the Maude Kerns Art Center, has two of her own pieces of art in the annual holiday show

Each of the center’s approximately 300 members are eligible to display two pieces unless they are very large, the center’s education coordinator, Jocelyn Moreno, said.

More than 100 of the member artists have chosen to participate in the show and sale, which is the 26th annual holiday exhibit.

“It’s a non-juried show, so all members are eligible to participate, and instructors and staff members also can have pieces in the show,” Moreno said. “One of the best things about this show is the chance to see what all the other member artists are up to.”

Moreno, herself an artist, has two very different pieces — one titled Prey and another called Adventure Mouse — on display.

“All mediums are acceptable, as long as they can be hung on the wall,” she said, although of course that doesn’t apply to the ceramics, ranging from the sublime to the whimsical, that occupy tables in an adjacent gallery space.

This year’s show is the 26th annual exhibit, timed to make artwork by many area artists available for sale during the holiday season. The show features paintings, printmaking, sculpture, and photography, plus decorative and functional ceramics by the Club Mud artists.
